Next week we will be testing the 6 times tables.

Linked with our current topic which is Japan, the boys have been creating their own paintings in Hiroshige’s style.

This week we have been focusing on representing data on different types of graphs. Today the boys collected the information using a tally chart. They then used this data to create a block graph.

Dominic has 135 stickers. Ronnie has 10 less than Dominic and 1 more than James. Harry has 10 more than James. How many stickers do each of the boys have?

Have a restful half term break!

 

After half term we will be testing 3 and 4 times tables.

“Where is the Science in Art?” – Royal Society of Chemistry Bill Bryson Prize 2014

Pupils aged 5—18 are asked to submit creative entries for the theme of Science and Art. Entries can be submitted in any format from posters, to puzzles to podcasts!

The weather has not dampened our spirits. The boys have had the World in their hands!

Please remember World Book Day on the 6th March 2014. Our theme is ‘Courage’ and you are encouraged to dress up for the day.

Our ‘Wizard Team Challenge’ this week was to create a large symmetrical pattern using resources from the classroom. Well done boys, impressive teamwork!
