The boys hunted for natural materials and used imaginative language to transform them into fantastical items e.g. dragon scales, a ray fallen from the sun, a sword from an ancient battle etc.

2WA visited the Senior School Science Laboratories this afternoon to create circuits using different components. The boys enjoyed using cells, switches, buzzers, motors and bulbs.

The boys are having great success in our maths lessons. We enjoy using our tens and ones apparatus, number lines and 100 squares.

Learning Objective: To be able to understand some ways in which boys and girls are similar and that this is ok

We listened to each statement to decide if we agreed, disagreed or were not sure.

We stood at the most appropriate place.

We were then invited to justify our reasons for standing where we chose.

It was so interesting listening to the boys’ reasoning for each statement.

Today we travelled back to 1605! We became part of The Gunpowder Plot and followed Guy Fawkes as he planned to blow up The Houses of Parliament!
