Disaster struck! “Help, help!”

One cold, stormy night a robot was playing with his friends Owen and Joss. He was having so much fun he forgot about bedtime “How can it be bedtime we’ve only played for two minutes or a half, please can we stay up for a little longer?”

They all went to bed at last, they all fell asleep when their heads touched the pillow. “Good night Owen and Joss.”

“Good night robot friend I hope we play again tomorrow.”

The next day something tragic happened, every single thing in the house was missing even their beds. When they woke up they seemed to be lying on the floor but everything was gone even the TV.

The robot, Owen and Joss were very, very, very cold with no sheets and no nice warm beds and the robot’s metal parts were shivering and his teeth were chattering. Owen said, “Who could be the culprit of this case? Guys I think we have a mystery on our hands”

“What did he just say?” said Joss.

“I think he said I think we have a mystery on our hands” said the robot politely.

“But we’re only kids!” said Joss “We can’t go out on our own but we have to. Our mum is missing too if we don’t find everything we will be done for.”

“Let’s go now!” said Owen “I know exactly where we are going and I know exactly who we are going to see. They will help us for sure.”

They went to a little cottage just down the road. They went to see Rohan, Callum, Hassan, Zane, Matthew and James W. They lived in that house together.

“Please can you help us?” said the robot.

“Why what do you want? What has happened?”

“All our things have gone missing even our beds!”

“I know who can help us too” said Callum and Hassan together. “The whole class can help us.”

“We have to go now,” said Owen, “otherwise we are done for and even our mum has gone missing!”

They went to the school and everyone was having playtime. Owen shouted “Hey stop!! Our mum and bed and everything has gone!”

“Let’s go,” said the class.

They went to the house where Owen, the robot and Joss were living and it was true that everything had gone. They set a trap for the culprit and this is how the trap became. They put a pretend spider web that actually sticks in front of two invisible trees and put a bit of sticky bubble gum and a net where the culprit would fall.

The next night the culprit came she didn’t even see the trap. She fell into the net and was flung up into the air.

THE CULPRIT WAS THEIR MUM!

“Mum, why did you do it?”

“Because I wanted you to do new things”

The police came and said “Allo, allo allo what’s going on here then” and told the mum off!

 

 

 

 Shark Attack

 Morning struck, ’ring’ my alarm clock went off. it was time to go on holiday. I was feeling extremely excited as I had never been to Mexico before. We rushed to the airport loaded our bags on to the conveyer belts and before we knew it we were boarding the plane it was lovely to be offered refreshments and we throughly enjoyed the journey. After an 11 hour flight we stepped foot off the airplane and the humidity hit us the temperature was lovely and warm it was such a change compared to the rainy miserable London weather. We were then driven to a luxury 5 star hotel, and were then greeted and taken up to our suite. I had never seen anything like it we had our own aquarium in the room with a Jacuzzi bath. On our way to the beach we found a leaflet saying ‘come and get a half price diving course’. I was determined to go and try something new. So I decided that I was going to go tomorrow morning.

As the sun rose I go ready to set off to the beech were I met a man named John. He then told me that we were going to go into to the depths of ocean and go cage diving to find some beautiful sea creatures. I was quite nervous as I had never done it before. We then set off. As we approached to aqua marine waters there was a sign attached to a rubber dinghy floating in the water. It was in a foreign language so we took no knowtice. I got into my diving suit and then the man put me in a cage and lowered me down. I was trembling with fear at this moment in time, not knowing what was going to be joining me under there. When I saw a big blue blurry shadow coming towards me. It was a great white shark. i started to panic and flap around frantically. The shark then caught sight of the rope that attached me to the boat. all that was going through my mind at this point was the thought of it ripping the rope and me going 40 metres down in to the deep ocean.

But to my luck it saw a big fish I the distance and swam off. I then was pulled up and arrived back on the boat safely. It was a close call and I decided never to do that again.

 

 

 

Callum gets the Bad Bird

This is a story about somebody in my world called Callum. Callum was a boy who loved eating birds.   Callum wanted to eat the bad bird because the bird kept annoying him then Callum would be happy. Callum’s favourite food was birds.

One day the bird flew into the spooky cave Callum didn’t like. The cave was spooky because it had things like insects, birds and black bats that made spooky sounds which scared Callum. The cave was dark and damp.

One day the bird flew out of the cave and Callum had a trap outside the cave but the bird saw Callum setting up the trap. Callum hid behind the cave and waited until the bird flew into the cave.

Then Callum heard something in the trap it was the good bird then the good bird said please let me go otherwise I will peck your nose off. Then Callum let the bird go. Callum made an even better plan.

The plan was to put bird seeds out of the cave so the bad bird can come and eat the seeds and get fat and can’t fly then it goes to sleep and then Callum gets a net and traps the bird. Then he put the bird in the cage.

There were lots of other birds in the cage they were the bad birds’ friends. They all decided to make a plan to get out of the cage. The cage was a big cage. Callum didn’t eat the birds straight away. When Callum hunted another bird Callum accidently left the cage open then all the birds pushed and shoved to get out of the cage and then Callum was back so he saw all of the birds trying to get out of the cage. Callum shut the door and took the birds out of the cage and Callum opened his mouth and all of the birds flew straight into his mouth and he ate them all.

Shhhhhshhhhhshhhhh! Michael turned his board, spraying the audience with snow, the crowd cheered and he raised his arms with pride.

 

Michael’s first experience of snowboarding was when he was 5 years old. His Grandfather had taken him to the Alps close to their home. The snow was thick, the air crisp and the silence was comforting. “You’re best to start with skiing,” he was told. He thought it looked boring and picked up a snowboard instead. He took to it straight away, it made him feel excited and immediately thought to himself, “I’m going to be in the Olympics when I’m older!

 

For ten years Michael practised on his snowboard every day. It felt like really hard work sometimes but he knew he had to do it. During the winter he went to the mountains near his house but in the warmer months he would travel to an indoor slope, use the dry ski slope at his school and sometimes he even practised on his skateboard. For ten years his Grandfather watched with pride.

 

Michael fell over a lot! He would be covered in bruises but his bones were strong and did not break. He was 11 when he fell on a hard rock and wasn’t so lucky – he broke his leg. “I will never make the Olympics” he sobbed. “Bones break, bones mend,” whispered his Grandfather. His Grandfather was right and Michael began to practice again.

When he was 15 he got into the 2018 Olympic snowboard team for France – he had finally made it! He was sad that his Grandfather had fallen sick and would not be there to see it. He was doing the half pipe – his Grandfather’s favourite. His snowboard was red, white and blue and the bottom had his name in capital letters.

 

He started his run. His first jump was to be a simple turn, his second was a triple backflip and his third a full flip. He was nervous about breaking his leg as the wind fought against him. He landed with a wobble as he crossed the finish line. Michael was disappointed and wanted to give up, “I’m too scared of breaking my bones and can’t win!” he thought.

 

The wind ruffled around the other snowboarders. One of them got hurt as he was forced down the slope backwards and he hit his head at the bottom. The competition stopped whilst the ambulance men took the boy to hospital. There was a long wait before they could start again.

 

In that time, Michael thought about the medal he wanted to win and all his hard work. He ran to the top and tried again. He looked up towards the sky, closed his eyes whilst the sun warmed his face and thought “Bones break, bones mend.” With that, he did a triple back flip, a double cork and a wildcat side flip and the crowd gasped in amazement. Shhhhhshhhhhshhhhh, he snowboarded over the finish line and sprayed the crowd with snow!

 

We have learnt how friction and gradient can alter the speed / distance of a travelling vehicle.

Henry in zombie’s wonderland

It was a cold morning, but the sun was shining. Henry was doing his amazing art work about zombies when the zombie’s art sucked him in. Suddenly, Henry was in the Zombie’s land, between thousands of zombies. Henry could not believe what he was seeing. He was scared but brave and strong. The zombies had a fire man and a water man so Henry quickly made an ice sword and a fire gun with his magic art. The zombie’s army had armours and slime swords. Their houses were made of beautiful colourful and shiny slimes.

The brave Henry fought with the whole army of zombies. The zombies were giants and strong. They called for gigantic iceman to come and defeat Henry, but Henry shoot him with his giant fire gun. The ice man tried to touch Henry, making an ice statue from him, but the fire from Henry’s gun melted him very fast.

 

The giant Fire man threw big balls of fire towards Henry. Henry started running and running. He hid himself behind a big slime house. The Fireman heat up the slime house. The heat melted the slime and it started moving down the hill. Henry was moving with the slime. The slime was moving down the hill like a waterfall. Now Henry was scared. He didn’t know where he was ending up. The slime was moving so fast. Soon Henry recognized the slime was surrounding him like a big boat and he was stuck inside. At least he was safe from Zombies. Henry wished that Ebrahim was with him. He missed him a lot. He started dreaming of playing with Ebrahim in school playground, when both running around the playground and laughing. All of the sudden, In Henry’s head, Ebrahim was shouting “use your ice sword my friend”. “What an excellent idea” thought Henry and he took out his giant ice sword from his backpack and touched the slime. The slime was solid again and stopped moving.

 

At last, Henry was free from the Zombies and their hilarious slime. Henry had no idea where he was. He was in a beautiful artistic world, surrounded by gigantic colourful flowers, but he was tired, hungry and thirsty. He missed his home and his family. He even missed the school lunch. All of the sudden it was dark. Henry looked up. A giant bird was leaning over him. Henry shouted at him “go away. You cannot eat me”. He started running faster and faster between the flowers. The giant bird was following him very fast and he managed to catch Henry’s backpack and flying high with him. But poor giant bird touched the ice sword and was frozen instantly in the air. Henry was scared and screaming. He was trying hard to keep flying. Suddenly he was shaken. He heard his mum saying” Henry wake up, Lunch is ready.” Henry opened his eyes. He never been so happy in his life. “Home, sweet home” he said happily.

Going to Space 

 

Once upon a time there was a man called Banana. He loved dreaming about going to space in a rocket. But Banana was a builder. He had to build houses every day of his life. One day, Banana’s boss told him to build a huge house in Africa. He went to Luton airport to catch the aeroplane. When he was there he met a man called Perla. Perla loved the same things as Banana and most of all he wanted to fly to space too! They talked about all the exciting things that could happen in space, like visiting planet Luton, or bouncing on top of Earth!  

 

After a long time they got onto the aeroplane – they were both travelling to Africa! Perla needed to go to Africa to protect the elephants because the hunters were stealing their tusks. On the aeroplane they were having lunch and talking together. All of a sudden the lights went off! They couldn’t see each other and started to feel scared. The next second they were in SPACE!!!  

 

The aeroplane landed on the moon with a big BUMP! They were so happy to see each other again. They luckily found some space suits in the cockpit, put them on and were finally able to breathe like an astronaut. But trouble was coming….. a bad alien was speeding towards them on a rocket! They were so scared to meet the alien and then they realised that the alien was actually GOOD. The alien helped them get out of the aeroplane because they were trapped inside. Then they climbed into the alien’s rocket and they went to planet Bom Bom. The planet looked like a door. They opened the whole planet and they saw millions and millions of the alien’s friends inside. All the aliens looked the same – they had long ears, fuzzy eyes, sharp teeth and shiny lips and they were REALLY BIG! But luckily they were very friendly. They let Banana and Perla come to their party. There was lots of noisy alien music playing and it was so good! 

 

Suddenly the sky turned yellow and all the lights and music went off. Banana and Perla saw a mean octopus flying in the sky. It was ginormous! The octopus tried to catch the aliens in its long legs – it wanted to eat them all! But Banana and Perla protected their new friends. They used their magic space powers to turn the octopus into a friendly alien and everyone became friends. Then the octopus said, “I don’t know why the sky is yellow, could it mean that something terrible is happening to the sun?”. So, the leader of the aliens said, “let’s take Banana and Perla back to Earth”. They all got into the alien’s rocket and they flew back to the moon. Banana and Perla fixed the aeroplane. Luckily everything was ok with the sun. It was orange now. Then they flew back to Earth. It was such an amazing adventure.  

 

ANACONDA’S EXCITING ADVENTURE 

Camera flashes illuminated Anaconda’s enormous, expansive cage. Anaconda was the star attraction at London Reptile Zoo and hundreds, thousands of people from all over the world turn up to visit it everyday . Anaconda was no ordinary snake. Never before had people seen a snake that could perform football skills!! He could header the ball like Nymer Jr and Ronaldo chops! 

Although Anaconda was always surrounded by people he felt really sad and lonely. Alone in his cage he never had anyone to talk to. He wondered who was on the other side of the solid rock cage wall. So, early next morning he had an idea. He decided to use his heavy football to make a big hole in the wall. BANG CRASH! The wall shattered in to tiny particles. Anaconda couldn’t believe his eyes. On the other side sat his worst fear… A mean, scaly and scary King Cobra!! He looked as fearce and angry like a blood thirsty bull shark. 

All of a sudden the King Cobra’s body dropped to the floor and was as still as a statue. Anaconda slithered slowly closely to the cobra’s body. But it was a nasty trick! King cobra’s sharp venomous teeth bit in to Anaconda’s big body. He started to jiggle and wriggle, until the most magnificent thing happened. Anaconda had transformed in to a Human Being! 

He ran out of the cobra’s cage and started looking at his tall body. At that moment he realised he had no clothes on!! He ran and hid behind a big bulgy rock. He started to think “What should I do regarding my clothes?” Suddenly an idea struck his smart mind. He saw a dirty, muddy puddle and next to it a big willow tree. He jumped in to the muddy puddle, cover himself in thick muddy water and then picked some leaves from tree and stuck it to his body.
He then thought “Who I should ask to help me, may be the zoo ranger “. When he reaches, the zoo ranger took one look at the person covered in mud and said “Who are you? “The man said “I am the star attraction at your zoo and the king cobra bit me and I turned in to human. Can you help me “. The zoo ranger said you have to get bitten by the same snake again. 

The zoo ranger and the man go to the snake’s cage. The man goes to the snake and tells him “BITE ME AGAIN PLEASE”. King cobra says “I don’t feel like biting you anymore”. The man says “I will buy you an ice-cream if you agree to bite me “. King cobra says “Yes, Yes, Yes I love ice-cream and I will bite you again”. The zoo ranger goes to the shop and gets the ice cream. King cobra enjoys the yummy ice cream and as promised bites the man. The man turns in to a Anaconda and delighted to be the star attraction in to zoo again!!
