A DAY OF ADVENTURE WITH SPIDERMAN AND JAKE

Once there was a boy called Jake and he lived with his mum in a cottage near a forest. One day he asked his mum if could go outside to play. His mum said it was okay for him to go outside to play but he shouldn’t go past the gate that separates their house and the forest. Outside he went past the gate. Then he got lost in a spooky underwater forest. Then Jake turned into super boy! Then he met the evil jellyfish. Super boy was trapped! A few days later he saw Spider-man and

Called out “hey Spider-man I need help can you help me?” ‘‘Sure”, said Spiderman. Super boy and Spider-man fought the jellyfish. They went into New York City “Spider-man thank you for saving me.’’ Then there was even more trouble when they saw Dr Octopus invading the city. Jake and spider-man came together to plan how they were going to defeat him. They decided the best plan is to throw a box of TNT at him, while hiding behind a dustbin in an alleyway.

They waited patiently for Dr Octopus to come near and when he was close enough they threw the box at him. The box went BOOM!, and exploded. This made Dr Octopus jumped but it was too late. The TNT exploded right in his face and he splattered into a hundred pieces. Jake and spider-man was pleased with themselves because their plan had worked. Now that Dr. Octopus was destroyed there will be peace and quiet in the city they hoped. On the way home ‘’I’m hungry’’ said Spider-man me too said Jake. The both went into a restaurant and order two large peperoni pizzas. After their dinner Jake went back home and Spider-man went back to the city centre to make sure everywhere was safe and calm.

Alec’s 500 word story

Once upon a time, in a land surprisingly close to where you are now, in a time of dragons and magic, there was a young, daydreaming squire called George. He dreamed of being a brave and helpful knight.
George lived in a castle and worked hard to become a knight. He watched the knights joust and ride from the window of his room and was jealous of their friendship and how they supported each other. It made his heart hurt and he felt even more determined to be part of that team.
George had lots of the qualities need to be a great and noble knight.
He was honest and fair.
He was generous and always shared his food with the chickens and goats in the castle yard.
He was gentle and patient like my lovely teachers who never get cross.
He had great manners and loved to help other people.
He was very loyal to the King but…
HE WOULD NOT FIGHT.
He had good skills with a sword and lance but he refused to ever hurt another living thing.
So the King would not make him a knight.
“No! a knight must fight” said the King.
The King was kind but was also very stubborn. He never changed his mind and he always believed that the old ways were the best ways like a grumpy, old grandad.
One fine Spring day the beautiful Princess smelled the apple blossom and went for a walk through the orchard outside the castle walls. She was captured by a huge, grizzly ogre and kept in a gold mine under the ground, guarded by a fierce red dragon.
Even though George was not a knight he was friends with the Princess and wanted to save her, so he galloped across the draw bridge to her rescue.
First George met with fire breathing dragon whose skin was scaly and lipstick red like my neighbours horrible pointy high heeled shoes. He refused to attack but spoke kindly to the dragon even though he was very scared. He said “You have a lovely long tail”. The dragon was proud of his tail and agreed to join George’s team.
Then George met the ogre whose breath smelled like out of date mushrooms. Instead of fighting him George gave the ogre the piece of cake he was carrying in his pocket. It was the very first time that someone had been kind to the ogre. His face seemed to change from ugly to sweet before George’s eyes and they gave each other a smelly but satisfying hug in friendship.
When the King heard what George had done he understood that you do not need to fight to be brave sometimes it shows more courage to be kind. He made George a knight and George’s heart seemed fly as the other knights lifted him to their shoulders, cheered and shouted out his name.

Zombies Rock

by Samuel

Once upon a time there was a zombie called Fred who lived in brookmans forest.

Him and his zombie buddies had formed a band – Zombies Rock!!

They love sitting around the fire and singing songs and practising on their instruments – Fred plays the guitar.
“Here comes the sun” by George Harrison is their favourite song.

They would make obstacle courses with sticks and leaves, to keep them fit – acorns are the winning medals.
The forest animals are their pets which they love and look after.
They were extremely gentle zombies.

One Sunday morning four little boys went out on their bikes along the forest bike trail.
But one of the boys Archie, decided to take a different turn. Oliver, raf and ted followed him – a scary mistake!!

It started to get dark and the boys were lost and scared.
Luckily they had water and snacks with them. Suddenly, they heard rustling in the trees.
Fred scarily popped out and introduced himself.
The boys started screaming with fright. And huddled into each other.
Fred quickly got his guitar out and played a soft song to relax the boys.

They soon realised that he was a friendly zombie. He explained to them that him and his friends lived in the forest and that they wanted to be accepted and for people not to look at them at first impression and presume that they would be horrible.

Fred managed to get them back onto the trail, where they cycled back to their homes.

The boys talked about how cool it would be if all the school friends could meet the forest zombies and listen to them.

The boys explained to the headmaster of their forest experience and if it was possible to hold a concert for the zombies.
The head was very reluctant at first and had to seriously think about the well being of all his staff, pupils and the parents!

After much persuasion from the boys he agreed.

The stage was set up in the theatre room and everyone came to see this once in a lifetime band.

Zombies Rock were actually feeling nervous and scared and unsure on how everyone would react.
.
The boys were there for them trying to make them feel relaxed.

Make up was put on the zombies faces to make them less scary looking.
They walked onto the stage and the audience went quite.

Fred started on his guitar and the rest of the band followed.
The audience slowly started warming up and going along with the tunes – before you knew it they were all dancing in the aisles.

What a roaring success this had turned out to be. The head was smiling.

This was the start for the zombies to start being part of normal, everyday life amongst people – something that they had always wanted.

Zombies Rock were to become a famous band with sell out concerts, all thanks to an appearance on the Xfactor.
Simon Cowell became their manager!
