We visited the Science lab to test what happens when different materials are heated. We made predictions and observed the changes.

We tested a marshmallow, ice, water, chocolate and a screw.
The marshmallow and chocolate burnt.
The water boiled and the ice melted.
The screw went rusty.
We used a Bunsen burner, safety goggles, a lighter and tongs.
The water spilt accidentally.
Thank you it was a fun lesson.

The chocolate melted, the ice melted , the screw burnt and changed colours, the marshmallow burnt and turned black and finally the water boiled and bubbles and steam came out of it!!
